Angie Hernandez joined the Buhl Police Department as a Records Assistant in early 2024, bringing extensive experience from her previous work in the manufacturing and medical industries in Gooding, Idaho. Angie’s strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and positive attitude have made her a valuable asset to the department.
Born on December 6, 1997, in Veracruz, Mexico, Angie is the youngest of two children of her parents, Margarita and Hipolito. She grew up in Weiser, Idaho, where she graduated from high school as a proud member of the Weiser Wolverines. In 2016, Angie began pursuing a biology degree at the College of Southern Idaho, a goal she plans to resume in the future.
Angie currently resides in Gooding with her mother, her significant other Dakota, and their daughter Mia. The family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child, a baby girl. In her personal life, Angie enjoys shopping, cooking, dancing, and outdoor activities such as camping with her family. She has a deep appreciation for music of all genres and values quality time spent at home.
Angie is also a devoted pet owner, sharing her home with two cherished dogs, Jack and Moose. Her dedication to her family and community, coupled with her professional expertise, make her an integral part of the Buhl Police Department team.
